TOUR DETAILES![]() Day 01: Delhi to Leh
Arrival at Leh airport and transfer to the Hotel. The first day is for acclimatization at high altitudes. Later in the afternoon visit to Leh Market, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. O/N Leh. Leh Palace was modelled on the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, the palace was built in the 16th century. It is nine storeys high. A must-see of Ladakh. ![]() Day 02: Leh - Local sight seeing full day
After breakfast drive for local sight seeing of Shey, Thikse and Hemis monasterys by Scorpio Jeep. Thikse monastery is affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey village. It is the largest gompa in central Ladakh, notably containing a separate set of buildings for female renunciates that has been the source of significant recent building and reorganisation. ![]() Day 03: Leh – Nubra Valley.
After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the Highest Motorable road in the World, passing at the umbelievable 18.382 ft or 5.359 m. After lunch, enjoy the camel safari on the sand dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village O/N Nubra Valley. The Bactrian camel is a large, even-toed ungulate native to the steppes of Central Asia. ![]() Day 04: Nubra Valley – Leh.
After breakfast visit Diskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same route as the previous day, crossing Khardung La Pass. O/N Leh. ![]() Day 05: Leh – Pangong Lake.
After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd Highest Motorable road in the world. Arrival at Camp, free time at leisure to enjoy the color changing lake and the sunset on the banks of lake. Pangong Lake is situated at 14.500 ft or 4.350 m of altitude; during winter the lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. ![]() Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh.
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of sunrise on the lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Tak Thok Monastery. The name Takthok, literally meaning 'rock-roof' was named because both its roof as well as walls are made up of rock. It belongs to the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and approximately 55 lamas reside there. It is the only Nyingma monastery in Ladakh. ![]() Day 07: Rafting
Early Morning transfer to rafting starting point place called Scorpochay down to Nimoo two and half hours by raft river grade 2 level on Zanskar river, hot lunch at Nimoo, evening 3-4 p:m back to Leh. Day 08: Departure
